There is still opportunity to register for the IDEA course for entrepreneurs that starts on April 29, 2019

ORANJESTAD - Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry / IDEA informs that one can still register for a course for entrepreneurs who want to start a business or manage an efficient business.

On April 29, 2019, IDEA (Iniciativa pa Desaroyo di Empresa Arubano) will present its "Prepared Entrepreneur II" course, organized by the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry.

The aim of this course is to guide entrepreneurs to create an innovative culture in their business and to instruct them in website design. Attention will also be paid to tax liabilities and to increase their knowledge and learn strategies to make their business a successful business.

The course is divided into the following subjects:

  • Creating a culture of Innovation
  • Developing Brand Awareness for Customer Satisfaction (Branding & Website Design)
  • Small Business Tax
  • Leadership & Management

This course starts on April 29, 2019 and consists of 19 lessons (10 weeks total) with 2 weekly lessons from 7:00 pm - 9:15 pm. The free days in May will be taken into account. The course ends on July 3, 2019. This course is given at Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry in the Sun Plaza building, located at the L.G. Smith Boulevard 160.

Course fee is Awg. 220

All phases must be successfully completed in order to obtain a diploma.

Admission criteria:

  • Preferred MAVO level or equivalent (not necessarily obtained diploma)
  • Computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of Papiamento, Dutch and English ..
