The applicant must submit copies of some documents with the application form. The applicant himself/herself must make the copies, including that the registration form, and submit all documents to get registered. They also must bring the original documents to verify the copies.
From 1 January 2011, the Naturalization Test consists of a component that tests knowledge of the state structure and society, four components that test the degree of knowledge of the Papiamento language and four components that test the level of knowledge of the Dutch language.
The Naturalization test is taken twice a year and the second round is in August 2019.
The Department of Education through its Examination Office is in charge of the test and has no participation in the other naturalization procedure.
