This training is in connection with the recently obtained funds from the Netherlands for the enforcement of the Aruba borders due to the Venezuelan crisis. A delegation of the Repatriation and Departure Service (DT&V) arrived in Aruba on September 9, 2019, for a short visit to present the “Hostmanship” concept.
The delegation visited the Minister of Justice, Security and Integration mr. Andin Bikker, but also paid a visit to the departments like IASA, Guarda nos Costa, DIMAS, KIA, and the Police Department.
This training will help the staff with knowledge and tactics on how to deal with the public, no matter local or foreign citizens, how to interact, communicate and or provide service during the process of providing service.
Local selected trainers will be provided with learning material, so they can teach their coworkers all of the needed tactics and knowledge in both communications and service skills, so they can render a higher quality of service.
Aruba has received 12 positions for 12 local trainers to be prepared to teach the Hostmanship course.
