Last week the Royal Schiphol Group’s Director International, Mr. Kjell Kloosteziel, visited several stakeholders. During his visit, and in the presence of the CEO of Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA), Mr. Joost Meijs, Mr. Kloosterziel met with the Governor of Aruba, Mr. Alfonso Boekhoudt, the Prime Minister of Aruba, Mrs. Evelyn Wever-Croes, Minister of Tourism and Health Mr. Dangui Oduber, AAA’s Supervisory Board, and AAA’s Leadership Team. He also visited the construction site of Gateway 2030, Phase 1A at the airport.
During the conversations, all parties expressed and reconfirmed their satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation between the Government of Aruba, Royal Schiphol Group, and Aruba Airport during the last two decades, which led to healthy company and airport operations in all aspects. The cooperating parties see Aruba Airport as a crucial infrastructure for Aruba and the gateway to Aruba for millions of tourists and residents. Recently, Mr. Dangui Oduber, the Minister of Tourism and Health as representative of the Shareholder of AAA, approved the Annual Report/Financial Statement 2022.
