Aruba has the best investment climate in the Caribbean. Especially the openness of the economy, the level of prosperity, and the strength of the institutions contributed to the high score of 71.1 of the Caribbean Investment Climate Index (CICI) among the countries in the region. Countries also included in the ranking are among others: Bahamas, Grenada, St. Lucia, Curacao, Antigua, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Saint Kits & Nevis, Dominica, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Saint Vincent & Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba, and Haiti.
Curacao is fifth in the ranking with a score of 56.3, whereas Haiti is in last place with 26.5.
