The children's book is a perfect fit for the topic this year. 'Mi buki, mi cas' (At Home with us). It is a story by writer and publisher Jeroen Hoogerwerf (Levendig Publisher) and illustrated by artist Vanessa Paulina. The booklet appears in 2 languages, Papiamento and Dutch. Carmen and Carlos show what it is like at their house. They also go on vacation and do all kinds of fun things together.
Jeroen Hoogerwerf and Vanessa Paulina think reading is essential and have supported the 'Festival di Buki pa Mucha' for many years with their ability, knowledge, creative talents, and tons of energy. This year, they are also fully committed. They are visiting schools in Aruba to tell stories and show beautiful drawings.
The library encourages reading among young and old by offering an extensive collection of books to everyone. To increase accessibility, children and teens join the library for free.
If you buy a book at a local bookstore, you will receive the children's Book Week gift for free while supplies last.
