ORANJESTAD - The Director of the National Library, Mrs. Astrid Britten, recently received ten copies of the children's book titled ‘Mihó lat ku nunka’ (better late than never) from Curacao native writer Mrs. Jenilva (Jenny) Coffi-Alberto. Journalist Mr. Tito Lacle delivered the books to the library.

The Director of the National Library, Mrs. Astrid Britten, receives ten copies of the children's book titled ‘Mihó lat ku nunka’ (better late than never) from Curacao native writer Mrs. Jenilva (Jenny) Coffi-Alberto from Mr. Tito Lacle.The main character in the book is a rat who lives in the back room of a wardrobe. The story is about reading and how it is never too late to learn how to read and become a great reader.

Soon the children can borrow or read these books at the  Oranjestad and San Nicolas libraries.

Mrs. Britten was happy that Mr. Lacle was able to bring these books to the youth collection of the library in Aruba.

Mrs. Jenny Coffi-Alberto is a widow and mother of two children and started writing books in 2000. She enjoys experimenting and writing stories for children and also Haiku. During the "Ban Lesa," week in Curacao, Mrs. Jenny visited several schools, told stories, and introduced her book. Another publication of Mrs. Jenny is ‘Het geluk van Kianu.’
