ORANJESTAD - On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Philip Timothy Arnell presented two books he wrote about his family’s history in the Caribbean.

The presentation is at the Arubiana/Caribiana Department of the National Library of Aruba located at Bachstraat # 5, starting at 07.00 p.m.

Fortunate Member of a Caribbean Diaspora’ and ‘Still Bajan After All These Years’ are books written by Philip Timothy Arnell. The first book discusses the histories of the families of St. Maarten/St. Martin and Anguilla with the influence of Aruba dating back to the 1600s.

The second book discusses the families' histories of Barbados dating back to the year 582.

Both books show the families' lines of lineage and progression, along with captivating stories of how this book came to be and out-of-the-ordinary stories that will spark an interest in any reader.

Philip Timothy Arnell was born in Queens, New York, on October 3, 1968, to parents of Caribbean descent. Philip is Caribbean-American and holds US and French nationality. Philip is married to Paula, and they have three children.
