ORANJESTAD - The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the Department of Labor and Research inform that the Council of Ministers has decided to designate Monday, February 15, 2021, being the Monday before Ash Wednesday, as a public holiday.

An appeal is made to the private sector to regard this day as a public holiday, all in anticipation of the amendment of Article 22, first paragraph, part b of the Labor Ordinance, and its ratification by National Decree containing general measures.
