They will be available on the Library’s website, their Facebook page, Youtube channel as well as on the Digiboard project in classes.
The Library started this year with this pilot project offering digital content compatible for the Digiboards in classes. The story of the children's book Ora Ora Ubao / Schelpeneiland in 2 languages can be presented and discussed using the Digiboards.
In addition, all information about this book’s authors including additional information will be available, including information sourcing.
The children can read the Festival’s Children Book together on the Digiboards. This can be done in an interactive way giving the children the chance to alternate read and or ask questions. The teacher can read the book while the children view the images and text on the Digiboard. There is also a version in the style of ‘Kamishibai’ available with all the illustrations from the book. In this version, the illustrations fill the entire screen and have no text.
This presentation was made in Prowise Presenter-environment, an online tool to create interactive materials and classes. This tool is available on all Prowise Digiboards. This system has been used in many public schools (DPS) and SPCOA schools. This can also be used on the browsers of other Smartboards and Digiboards or computers connected to a SmartScreen or beamer/projector, as long that there is an internet connection.
Teachers can create a free account to gain access to the contents of the Children Book Festival and to create their own lessons.
