Conference 35 years Status Aparte - Aruba belongs to us all

ORANJESTAD - Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, on behalf of the Government of Aruba, invites the people of Aruba to attend the conference "35 Years of Status Aparte - Aruba belongs to all of us" on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Workers unions Status AparteDue to COVID 19 preventive measures, the available seats for invitees are limited. Therefore, the conference will be transmitted live for the public to follow this program dedicated to Status Aparte.  

Secretries Council of Ministers Status Aparte.This year Aruba commemorates 35 years of Status Aparte within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. On January 1, 1986, Aruba officially became a country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Since the enacting of Status Aparte, various governments and Parliament contributed to the success of Aruba. 

Press Status AparteDuring this conference, we will look back at the past 35 years. We will analyze where we were, where we are now, and where we want to go as a country. The 35 years of Status Aparte brought us where we are now, but together we have to determine how to flesh out the contents of the future of Aruba and its Status Aparte. 

We will elaborate on what Status Aparte means to Aruba, our accomplishments till now. In addition, we will also analyze the economic, social, educational, and cultural development of Aruba.

Guest from various sectors and ex-representatives who held important positions during the past 35 years will also be present.

Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, on behalf of the government of Aruba, invites the people of Aruba to follow this program on November 23, 2021, from 9.00 to 12.00 noon, via TeleAruba, Canal 22, Diario TV, and the Facebook page of Gabinete Wever-Croes.
