Covid-19 measures eased by the Crisis Team effective May 25, 2021

ORANJESTAD - The Government of Aruba has announced that they have eased some of the measures taken to stop the spreading of the Covid-19 virus.

These changes are effective May 25, 2021, and include the following measures:

The Curfew has been lifted.

Closing times

Closing times are now 11:00 pm.
Closing time for casinos is now 1:00 am

Supermarkets and hardware stores can now operate at full capacity.

Gathering prohibition is canceled, but 1,5-meter social distancing and the use of face masks remain in place

Area prohibition

Area prohibition is eliminated on the beach and reef. Is still active on public property from 7:30 pm to 5.00am.

Restaurants

Indoor dining maximum 8 guests per table, outdoor dining maximum 10 guests per table.

Social/family encounters

Indoors maximum 30 persons and outdoors 60 persons are location size permits.

Maximum 5 musicians together on stage. Dancing is still not allowed.

Funerals

Funerals can have a maximum of 60 people at once.

Sports

Sport organized by ASU, COA, and IBISA are allowed but without indoor public while outdoors can have a maximum of 60 spectators.

Contact sports are only allowed for athletes under the age of 18 years.
