Now the DVG replenished its stock. Their Mobile Unit will be in San Nicolas to administer Pfizer Bivalent Covid Booster shots closer to home. The Pfizer Bivalent vaccine targets the sub-variants of the Omicron variant circulating in the community. The anticipation is that the sub-variants of Omicron will dominate this winter season. Therefore, the DVG urges everyone 12 years and older who got at least two vaccines to get their Bivalent vaccine. The DVG only administers the Bivalent vaccine as a booster shot. Residents must have received at least two vaccines to get the vaccine.
Individuals 60 years and older, who received 3 or 4 vaccines, also qualify for the Bivalent booster vaccine.
The Bivalent booster vaccine is available in San Nicolas on November 24 and 25 from 8:00 am to 11:45 am and from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Joe Laveist Stadium.
To receive the Bivalent booster, individuals should present an AZV card or digital AZV pass, the Aruba Health App, a valid form of ID, and if possible, previous proofs of vaccines.
During the days that the DVG's Mobile Unit is in San Nicolas, the vaccine station in Oranjestad will also provide the Bivalent booster vaccine from 8:00 am to 11:45 and from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm.
