Deadline submission date to submit documents to receive payment for the Aruba loan period 1 2022-2023

ORANJESTAD - The Department of Education Aruba (DEA) reminds students that September 15, 2022, at 11.59 pm the deadline is to submit documents to receive the Aruba Loan Period 1 2022-2023.

The installment payment is not automatic. The student must request it, and the procedure is as follows:

Students must first log in to their Aruba loan account via the Aruba Loan Portal at

Aruba student loan PortalOnce logged in, the student goes to "Payments" and has to upload the following documents:

  1. Official proof of (re)enrollment for the school year 2022/2023 of the school where the student is studying.
  2. Official proof of the list of marks/transcript (study progress overview) for the 2021-2022 school year;
  3. Proof of valid insurance for the school year 2022-2023. This requirement is not valid for students in Aruba.

Once the three documents mentioned above are in order, the payment will be approved and the student will receive the Aruba loan on the bank account registered with the Directorate of Education.

DEA will reject the request if the documents are incorrect or information is missing.

DEA urges the students to follow the instructions in the "reactions" of the rejected payment and upload the correct and complete documents again.

The Study Facilities and Guidance section are currently processing many payment requests.

It can take until September 30, 2022, and if the Aruba loan payment has not been received by October 3, 2022, the student should contact immediately.
