Driving Licenses Office will resume work on June 1, 2020

ORANJESTAD – The Police Department announces that the Bureau Driving Licenses and Driving Test (Bureau Rijbewijzen en rijexamen BRR) resumed its activities on June 1, 2020.

The BRR will contact the persons who had an appointment before the COVID-19 outbreak for the theory exam, to make a new appointment.
Concerning the practical exam, the date and new rules will be announced at a later time.

Building Driving Licenses  and Driving testPlease note that to register for a new appointment for the driving license exam, renewal of the driving license, certificate of authenticity and other services/ products, one must send an email to ber@kparuba.com.

Persons who have to take the driving skills course since their driving license has expired for more than 1 year, must register via the above e-mail to pay the course fee at the BRR. After payment of the course fee, the office will inform you when the course starts.

In your e-mail you must indicate what product you want, e.g. registration driving license exam, re-exam, renewal driving license. Your mail must include your complete personal information and a contact number. The BRR will then email you the requirements you need to bring with you.

For more information, please contact the BRR from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 12:00 hrs. via telephone number 5854710. Service at the counters is only by appointment, made by e-mail. This is to prevent agglomeration and to keep social and physical distance.
