Exprodesk invites all musicians to participate in the WDNA-88.9FM campaign

ORANJESTAD – The Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry, and the unit Exprodesk invite all musicians to participate in Miami's 88.9FM WDNA Broadcasting Radio campaign.

Sharon Meijer-van der Linden, Policy Advisor Foreign Economic Relations and Business Advisor Exprodesk, Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry and intern Chester Hill. If you are a musician and want to expand your career, this is your opportunity to be heard on the radio abroad and create an extensive fan base. The campaign starts on September 24, 2021, till October 9, 2021, and participation is free.

WDNA-88.9FM campaign.With the WDNA campaign, Exprodesk provides our local musicians with the opportunity for their compositions to get heard in Florida. It will also expand their music to another level.

Musicians of all genres can participate in this campaign. To participate Exprodesk requests all our musicians to register their songs before at the Bureau of Intellectual Property. It is for them to get protection under the copyrights law.

Next, Exprodesk requests the musicians to submit their songs via an MP3 audio file with is YouTube link if they have videos of their songs. All musicians must send their songs/ audio files before October 9, 2021, to: s.meijer@deaci.aw.

Logo IdeaThe goal of Expordesk is to promote our Aruban musicians of every genre by showcasing our local songs on the international market. Exprodesk contributes to the development of our Creative Industry by promoting the export of the creations of our artists. It also allows them to benefit from their talent and creativity.

Please note that Exprodesk is not in charge of the selection of the songs for this campaign, but the DJs of WDNA in Florida. Exprodesk will receive the audio files and will forward them to the WDNA radio in Florida. WDNA will choose the musicians they will present in October.
