First quarantine offender fined AWG. 1000,-

ORANJESTAD- Since March 31, 2020, the Quarantine Taskforce consisting of the Police Department and Department of Public Health started visiting homes of those in quarantine.

 

A task force is a temporary organization created to address specific issues.

On the first day of controls by the taskforce, 1 person was not located at the indicated home address and received an AWG. 1000,- fine.

The DVG and the Government warn everyone that has been instructed by the DVG to quarantine, to stay home and not leave under any circumstances. Follow the quarantine instructions even if you have absolutely no symptoms to stop the spreading of the Coronavirus. The community is also encouraged to report those who have been quarantined and that are seen in public areas, on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/covid19arubahacibodenuncua

Anyone not obeying the quarantine law will be fined by the Taskforce.
