Free membership and a free book for children

ORANJESTAD - The National Library of Aruba (BNA) is giving away a new book titled 'At Carmen and Carlos's Home' to every child who becomes a new member.

"At Carmen and Carlos's Home" is a book the National Library published for every child in Aruba, inspired by the theme 'My book, my home.' This book is a gift to the children of Aruba. The author is Jeroen Hoogerwerf, and illustrated by visual artist Vanessa Paulina. Both participated in the Children's Book Festival and visited various schools to tell stories.

It tells the story of a family enjoying a sweet holiday. Carmen and Carlos are cousins, and they show the readers how things happen around them at home.

Becoming a member of the National Library is free of charge. To register, parents can bring their child to the library in Oranjestad or San Nicolas, bringing a valid ID and their child's AZV card.

The National Library offers every child an extensive collection of beautiful books, many stories, and a wealth of information for school.
