The visit took place in the connection with the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19).
FPNC provides free food to persons or families who are financially unable or barely able to make a living. Besides, with this activity, FPNC ensures that food waste is prevented. The Governor started his visit with a tour of the Club Kibrahacha site. From here, meals and food boxes are prepared and distributed by FPNC. Subsequently, a conversation took place with volunteers, employees, and board members of FPNC, during which the Governor was informed about how they deal with the challenges that the crisis poses.
Through telephone calls and, if possible, working visits, Governor Boekhoudt informs himself about the consequences of the Corona outbreak and expresses his support and appreciation for the efforts of so many in the fight against the pandemic. Measures are taken in consultation with the organizations involved to allow working visits to take place securely.
