The library has a great collection of photos of the LAGO Oil and Transport Company Ltd.
LAGO operated for more than 50 years on the island and had a prominent role in the economic and cultural development in Aruba. The 745 photos published by the library, belonged to the LAGO’s PR department titled “Human interest/people at work”.
The digital collection of the National Library contains over 26 thousand publications (books, newspapers, and magazines), including 3500 audiovisual publications (photographs, videos, maps, and more). All this belongs to the cultural, historical, literary, and documental heritage of Aruba and the Caribbean. The collection is available on the library’s digital platform http://bna.aw/digital.
