She explained what the Government’s job entails and informed them about the history of the Government’s office. The children had the opportunity to ask questions, just like in a real press conference. The children asked the Minister how someone becomes a Minister if the Minister is an animal lover, which education the Minister has.

After the visit to the Government’s Office, the children proceeded to the “Cocolishi building”. In the Cocolishi’s Council of Ministers' room, they had the opportunity to meet Minister Ursell Arends, Dangui Oduber, Endy Croes, Glenbert Croes, and Rocco Tjon. Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes and Minister Geoffrey Wever were unable to attend this visit due to other commitments. The attending Ministers had the opportunity to present themselves to the children and explain their daily work and responsibilities. The children have learned a bit more about how the Government of Aruba works.

Minister Xiomara Maduro thanked the children and their leaders for their visit.
