These banks’ system are automatically connected with the payment system of the Tax Department and all transactions are registered on the same transaction day. When paying online please select Bill Pay and NOT transfer. It is important to include “grondbelasting 2020, invoice number and personal tax number (persoonsnummer). This way the payments can be correctly processed.
Clients that cannot afford to pay the bill as indicated in the fixed term payment schedule, can request a payment arrangement. This request should be made as soon as possible to avoid the Tax Department from proceeding with the billing process, which will gradually become more severe and may include additional charges. Taxpayers can also make use of the flexible payment arrangements that are offered by the Fiscal Relief Plan 2020. Taxpayers can pay their taxes in longer terms and thus get some financial space.
