ORANJESTAD - On September 1 2022, the Minister of Economic Affairs, Communication and Sustainable Development Geoffrey Wever, announced a reduction in fuel prices as per September 14 2022. Gasoline will see a reduction of 25.2 cents(-8.6%), diesel 8.5 cents (-3.1%), and kerosene 9.7 cents (-3.8%).

Since last month, the prices of barrel of diesel and gasoline remain on a downward trend on the international market.

The Government hopes that this trend continue which will benefit everyone.

The international market has been recovering from the initial price shocks caused at the beginning of the Ukraine war, but is however still being affected by other international developments.

The Government is anticipating a stabilization in the fuel prices for now but is nevertheless continuing its focus on reducing our international dependency and moving forward with more sustainable alternatives.
