Minister Maduro and Prime Minister Wever-Croes met with the team of CFATF

ORANJESTAD – On August 31, 2021, the Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs and Culture Xiomara Maduro and Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes met with the team of CFATF (Caribbean Financial Action Task Force) that will evaluate the integrity of Aruba’s financial system.

These upcoming days, the CFATF team will meet with different stakeholders in the public sector to evaluate the efforts our country is making to prevent the misuse of our financial systems for money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

The Government of Aruba wishes much success to the Aruba team and the CFATF team and hopes that Aruba can count on a sound evaluation.
