Ministers receive a booster shot in San Nicolas

ORANJESTAD - On Thursday, January 13, 2022, Prime Minister Evelyn Wever Croes, Minister Ursell Arends, and Minister Endy Croes visited the Operation Mobile Unit of the BRA located at the IMSAN in San San Nicolas for their booster vaccine. 

Prime Minister Evelyn Wever Croes receives her booster vaccine.  The first, second, and booster vaccines are also available in San Nicolas. The BRA put their Operation Mobile Unit at the disposal of the DVG for the administration of the covid vaccines and booster shots. The Operation Mobile Unit is in front of the IMSAN in San Nicolas. The community of San Nicolas and its surroundings can now get their vaccines close to home.

The Prime Minister also announced that the booster vaccine is available for individuals 18 years and older starting January 14, 2022, but explicitly at the Centro Libertador Betico Croes in Santa Cruz.

Trailer (Mobile Unit) Crisis Management Office.The Prime Minister stated that they received a request from individuals under 18 years to receive the booster shot. Booster shots for this age group are still not approved by the Dutch authorities. However, the local authorities requested an exemption for those under 18 years with underlying health conditions. 

Meanwhile, the age group from 12 to 17 with underlying health conditions must wait for the approval of the Dutch authorities.

The Prime Minister urges everyone who wants the vaccine or the booster shot, to get this as soon as possible to protect ourselves and our loved ones against the Covid virus.
