The Minister thanked Qredits for its support in providing microcredits at reduced interest rates to over 100 small and medium-sized businesses. These loans are much-needed in these times of crisis.
Mr. Groeneveldt announced that Qredits has once more made more funds available, at low-interest rates, to keep helping small and medium-sized businesses.
Besides, the Qredits executives talked about the “BeYourOwnBoss” project. This will help EPI students with their preparations to become entrepreneurs in the future.
The program BeYourOwnBoss started on February 1, 2021, and runs for 18 weeks. A total of 100 EPI students studying at the Hospitality and Tourism unit are attending this project and will receive a certificate upon completion. Colegio EPI will include his accredited program in the existing curriculum of the unit.
This program already is added to the curriculum of more than 100 Intermediate vocational education in the Netherlands.
The EPI’s commitment for the upcoming years is to incorporate this certification in the curriculum of existing and new programs for all students.
The API also offers the “BeYourOwnBoss” program to the general public that starts mid-February 2021 with an introduction session. Classes start on February 15, 202,1, and end in the last week of June. The program will be held twice a week from 6:30 to 9:00 pm at Colegio EPI and the instruction language is English. The program will be given in a hybrid way, partially at the EPI and online, and costs Afl 350,-
