Aruba has a national prevention plan for Non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and an essential part of this plan is awareness among the community. The program targets seniors and helps them improve their lifestyle by incorporating physical activities into their daily routine.

Minister Dangui Oduber mentioned that "doing nothing" is no longer an option. Aruba's population is aging with all its consequences for our general health insurance. That is why all professionals need to be more aware of their responsibilities when treating seniors.
