National Anthem and Flag Day celebration at the National Library

ORANJESTAD - The National Library of Aruba (BNA) celebrates the National Anthem and Flag Day on Friday, March 18. 

National Anthem and Flag Day celebration at the National Library.The library opens its doors wide open for the public with a very festive program, including a musical program, popular games, local food, sweets, and a second-hand book market.

The celebration starts at 9:00 am and until 2:00 pm.

This festivity will be full of entertainment. Robert Maduro & his group, Sonido de AntaƱo, Tradicion musical, and Tipico Ayo, will entertain those present with their music.

Second-hand book market

The National Library of Aruba is organizing a used books market on March 18, 2023.The National Library (Biblioteca Nacional di Aruba) also organizes its second-hand book market for all book lovers.

Come and dig into the large selection of second-hand books. You never know the interesting books you will find. Books go for Afl. 1.00 per piece.

There will be second-hand books available in every genre for every taste.

Popular games

The volunteers of Hunga Teca will ensure that everyone can participate in the popular games on this day. Hunga Teca is located in the library and is open thrice a week.

It opens on Monday and Wednesday from 4.00 to 7.00 p.m and on Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

The popular games take place outside in front of the library.
