New Supervisory Board for Serlimar

ORANJESTAD - Minister Ursell Arends has recently held a meeting with the new members of the Supervisory Board for the Serlimar.

These members are local professionals and come from diverse professional backgrounds.

The new Supervisory Board consists of 75% women. It emphasizes gender equality, diversity, and inclusion.

As Minister of Nature, he has ensured that nature and the environment are highly valued within the Supervisory Board and has appointed two environmental activists to the Supervisory Board for the Serlimar.

The new members of the Supervisory Board are:

  • Mr. Roland Croes, Businessman;
  • Ms. Francielle Lacle, Environmental Economy/Sociology; Doctoral candidate;
  • Mrs. Genevieve Raghunath, Lawyer;
  • Ms. Eunice Semeleer, Environmental Science and Policy; Global Business and Sustainability.

Now they are pending to appoint a member on behalf of the trade unions.

“I am proud of this team leading the Serlimar Supervisory Board. The Council faces enormous challenges, but I am confident that they will implement the vision so that Serlimar can become a financially stable company that will lend exceptional service to the community," Minister Arends stated.
