The borders with Brazil and Venezuela will remain closed.
It is exactly one year ago that Aruba closed its borders with the world, except for the Netherlands, after detecting Covid19 on Aruba. This drastic measure in combination with other measures was needed to help limit the impact of the virus on the population of Aruba.
Gradually the borders with certain countries were reopened under strict conditions and control. After evaluating the current situation in Peru, the Crisis Team deemed it opportune to reopen the borders for traveling from and to Peru starting March 18. Direct flights from and to Peru, including flights connecting in other countries en route to or from Peru will resume on March 18.
