Owners of goats, sheep, or pigs for consumption may only slaughter them at the abattoir. The slaughter of animals at home for consumption is illegal and poses health risks. Abattoir will provide its animal slaughtering service during November and December 2023 from Monday to Thursday in the morning, starting on Monday, November 13, until Monday, December 18, 2023, and exclusively by appointment.
Those who wish to slaughter one or more animals for consumption must make an appointment with the abattoir. This measure is to coordinate the slaughtering in a more organized manner, complying with hygiene regulations and preventing the transmission of Influenza and COVID.

The abattoir asks everyone to adhere to their appointments. If you do not arrive in time for your appointment, you must make a new appointment. The last day for animal slaughtering is Monday, December 18, 2023, with limited capacity. Do not wait until the last moment but make your appointment on time. The abattoir does not slaughter animals without an appointment.
