Opening of the Children's Book Festival 2023

The doors open at 5 pm, and the show runs from 6 pm to 8 pm.

During the presentation, all children will get to know every children's book author and storyteller. The audience will also get to meet the storyteller!

Every year, the library chooses a new theme to give the festival a different character, and this year's theme is 'My Book, My Home.' The Children's Book Festival takes place from November 6 to November 10, 2023, to encourage more reading among children.

During the week of November 6 to 10, many authors from Aruba, as well as from the Netherlands, Curaçao, Bonaire, and St. Eustatius, will visit over 50 schools. In the afternoons, there are also presentations at the libraries in Oranjestad and San Nicolas, thus inspiring children to read more, read together, and visit the library more often.
