Payment of Motor Vehicle Tax 2021 possible on Saturday

ORANJESTAD – The Tax Department announced that they will be open on Saturday January 30, 2021 from 8 am to 11 am at the Main office in Camacuri.

Bank account numbers Departamento di Impuesto (Tax Department)On Saturday they will only provide the following service:

  • Payment of Motor Vehicle Tax (or other taxes)
  • Register Vehicles
  • Return License Plates

The Tax Department is reminding all clients that payment is only accepted by Debit Card.

Building Tax DepartmentOnly non-commercial seniors older than 60 years can pay their taxes with cash. Be aware that the payment of Motor Vehicle Tax 2021 is not possible with an outstanding balance of Motor Vehicle Tax for previous years.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Tax Department will only allow a limited amount of clients in their waiting hall. The Tax Department is encouraging their clients to make their payments online to avoid long waiting times. The online bank payment system is pretty simple, easy and safe.

The deadline for payment of the first half of 2021 motor vehicle tax is February 1, 2021.
