Pregnant or recently pregnant women are more at risk to get severely ill from COVID -19

ORANJESTAD – The COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for all persons 12 years or older, including pregnant women or women who are breastfeeding or trying to get pregnant (excluding persons advised by their physicians not to take the vaccine).

Pregnant womenPregnant or recently pregnant women have a higher risk of getting severely ill from COVID -19, compared to women who are not pregnant.

The COVID-19 vaccine protects this group from severe disease caused by COVID-19. 

Vaccination is not only an act of solidarity and joint responsibility, where no one can stay behind but also an act of love for you, your family, and your country!
