The Director of Labor and Research seeks the advice of an independent committee consisting of employer and employee representatives in the process of dismissal requests submitted by employers seeking permission from the Director of Labor and Research to terminate the employment relationship with one or more employees. The so-called Dismissal Committee finds its basis in article 3 of the National Ordinance on the Termination of Employment Contracts, AB 1989 GT 14.
The pending applications will be handled through the usual procedure. If the "hearing rounds" preceding the advice and decision are completed after December 16, 2021, you will have to take into account a possible delay in the handling of the dismissal requests.
The relevant documents will then be offered for advice to the Dismissals Committee for the first time in January 2022.
