The app is available for download on Google Play or Apple Store and requires user registration. Those who already have this app should make sure it is up to date. After you created your username and the app is up to date, a vaccine icon appears on the home screen of your smart device. Once you click on this icon, you are registered. The app can be used for multiple users. Choose “add user” to add family members to the app who do not have a smartphone and to register them.
Those who have a smartphone and AZV insurance but need assistance to register via the app, can receive assistance at any MFA.
The MFA’s will assist from Monday to Friday starting at 7:30 am non stop until 4:30 pm. This assistance starts on Monday, February 8 2021 at noon.
Another option is aruba.dvgapp.org that also requires the creation of new users and registration.
Those who do not have AZV insurance cannot register for the vaccine through the Aruba health App or aruba.dvgapp.org but can certainly receive their COVID 19 vaccine. There are three different ent registration possibilities s for the persons that fall under this category:
- Individuals and their partners who are registered as residents for a definite or indefinite period because of their job, such as with the Dutch armed forces, can register in person at any MFA and have a legitimate form of ID and proof of residency. The MFA’s will assist from Monday to Friday starting at 7:30 am nonstop until 4:30 pm. This assistance starts on Monday, February 8, 2021, at noon.
- Individuals with a Dutch Passport, not visiting as tourists but staying for a definite or indefinite time with family, not registered at the Civil registry, with no AZV insurance can also register in person at any MFA with a valid form of identification. The MFA’s will assist from Monday to Friday starting at 7:30 am nonstop until 4:30 pm. This assistance starts on Monday, February 8, 2021, at noon.
- Individuals residing in Aruba with an illegal status can register at the HIAS Aruba located at Arendstraat #116 Oranjestad or the Red Cross located at Pedro Gallegostraat #14 in Dakota. For more information, please call the HIAS Aruba at 7307770 or the Red Cross at 5822219.
The community needs to know that the vaccination campaign is for the Aruban community, everyone residing in Aruba for a long or indefinite period and excludes tourists visiting Aruba.
