Registration health care providers

A health care provider can be a sole proprietorship, company, foundation, or cooperative association that provides health care in Aruba. 

According to article 2 of the National Ordinance Quality in Health care (Landsverordening kwaliteit in de gezondheidszorg) these health care providers must register to continue to provide service. If they also want to hire personnel, they must comply with the AruBIG registry.

Only registered health care providers can hire a health care professional. You may register on the Department of Public Health website www.dvg.aw/arubig. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the section “register zorgaanbieders”. 

You will find more information on the required documents to register. Some agencies did already register with AruBig. However, the focus is now for all providers to do the same. The registration deadline is March 31, 2022.
