Relaxation COVID-19 measures per July 5, 2021

ORANJESTAD - On July 2, 2021, Prime Minister mr. Evelyn Wever-Croes announced the relaxation or removal of the COVID-19 measures.

The measures that will be relaxed are as follows:

  • Crisis Team – Director ATA Ronella Croes, Prime Minister mr. Evelyn Wever-Croes, Sharline Koolman, Head Department of Infectious Diseases.Closing times - Businesses are allowed to close according to the regular closing times;
  • Distance: keeping 1.5 meters distance from each other has been removed;
  • Sports: all restrictions have been removed (Incl. Bush League); 
  • Funerals: Casket may be open at the opening. For corona deceased, the placement of a glass plate on the casket is required;  
  • Bingo: Bingo is allowed; 
  • Businesses: All restrictions have been removed (Church, restaurant, etc.);
  • Nightclubs: Nightclubs can open again; 
  • Dancing: Dancing is allowed;

Alcohol: Prohibition to drink alcohol in public places was lifted.
