Second vaccine dose available on April 29 and 30 for anyone who received their first dose before April 8

ORANJESTAD - The time-lapse required between the first vaccine and second vaccine is a minimum of 3 weeks and a maximum of 6 weeks.

Walk-in vaccination for persons 18+ since April 28, 2021Once the first vaccine is given, the individual receives an automatically generated appointment for their second dose. Keeping in mind that those who received their first vaccine before April 8 have reached the 3 weeks’ time-lapse this week, the Department of Health (DVG) deemed it necessary to urge this group to get their second dose on April 29 or 30 at the Centro Libertador Betico Croes anytime 8:30 am to 7:00 pm ‘ nonstop’ or at the Santa Teresita Center between 8:30, am - 11:30 am and 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

There is also the possibility to walk in for everyone older than 18 years. The only thing required is an AZV card. Those residing in Aruba for more than 6 months and who do not have an AZV card, should bring their passport to prove their entrance to Aruba or a valid permit or contract.

Members of the Kingdom’ with Dutch nationality, older than 50 years and proof of stay for more than 3 weeks, are also eligible for the vaccine.
