Serlimar SG has a new director

ORANJESTAD - Minister of Transport, Integrity, Nature, and Elderly Affairs Ursell Arends announced that the Supervisory Board of Serlimar SG appointed Mrs. Melitza Geerman as the new director, effective November 1, 2022.

Mrs. Melitza Geerman is the new director Serlimar SG effective November 1, 2022.The Supervisory Board selected Mrs. Geerman as the candidate that best fits the job requirements. Mrs. Geerman has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Human Resource Management & Organization Development and Economics. She has an outstanding trajectory in the private sector, where she worked in key management and marketing positions. Her most recent position was Head of Commercial/ Territory Manager Aruba at Superior Tobacco Aruba N.V., a company affiliated with Philip Morris International.

Serlimar is not going through its best days and has many tough challenges but also great opportunities to change course of the local patrimony.

The Minister expressed complete trust that Mrs. Geerman has all the needed competency to change the course of Serlimar SG and make it a financially stable company. The Minister also expressed gratitude to Mrs. Madeline Lacle, interim director, for her efforts during the company's darkest moments.
