SVb launches ‘MiPensioen’ App!This App for smartphones was developed in a relatively short period and recently launched. The   vision of the government is to provide innovative services to all insured using technology. With this App, the SVb can function more efficiently and transparently with the retirees. The SVb should adequately administer the funds for the elderly pension (General Old Age Insurance or AOV) in a trustworthy manner to guarantee the financial sustainability of the funds.

The data obtained from the SVb, indicate that the seniors are using the portal. Data from 2021 show that from the 1054 seniors who applied for their elderly pension, 922 have done this using the portal.

SVb launches ‘MiPensioen’ App!In 2022, up to August, 609 of the 630 seniors applied for their pension through the portal. This clearly shows that more and more seniors are using technology, and this can be seen in the graphics as well.

Thanks to technology and innovation, the SVb confirmed through video calling that 543 people were still alive and continued to receive their pensions.

Through the MiPensioen app, pensioners can check their income and annual statement, which they can download for tax purposes.

The idea is to expand the possibilities of the App in the future.

Pensioners can register online on the website or immediately download the app via Playstore of Appstore. The only requirements are a valid e-mail and AOV code.
