The week-long event was full of valuable and dynamic presentations about the theme; Conquering new horizons. It included topics such as the latest trends in e-commerce, the future of online payments, digital currency (cryptocurrency), blockchain, crypto wallets and non-fungible tokens (NFTs, circular economy, and doing business with the USA, Asia, and the Caribbean.
The Minister of Economic Affairs, Communications, and Sustainable Development, Mr. Geoffrey Wever, presented certificates to those who completed the course.
“I hope that this course gives more knowledge to those who attended and becomes part of the improvement of our entrepreneurial community," minister Wever mentioned during his speech.
Before presenting the certificates, the Minister shared information with those present about the recently modified laws that make it possible to recognize cryptocurrency within the Aruban legislation. It makes it possible to adapt to modern ways of doing business which should have a considerable impact in the upcoming years. We need to seize the moment on this.
The participants were happy about their experience and the subjects presented during the week-long Export Week course.
