The Crisis Team announced changes in the measures starting on February 5

ORANJESTAD - After thorough deliberations with stakeholders that are part of the Crisis Management Team, they decided to relax some safety measures.

Latest update coronavirus February 5, 2021The pandemic not only causes physical issues, but also mental health issues, economic crisis, safety issues, and much more. This is why the team evaluates its decision to find the right balance within the sectors in crisis.

The following measures are relaxed:

  • Curfew staring on Friday at midnight. Curfew is from midnight to 5:00 am.
  • Closing time extended from 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
  • Restaurants can have 4 guests per table indoors and 6 guests per table outdoors.
  • Gathering prohibition from 2 to 4 persons

The “area prohibition” on public parking lots and all beaches will remain active from 7:00 pm.

Keep physical distance at all times of 1, 5 meters, wear facemasks properly indoors when you cannot comply with social distancing. Use hand sanitizer and wash hands frequently for 20 seconds.
