The deadline for paying motor vehicle tax is June 30, 2022

ORANJESTAD - The Tax Office reminds vehicle owners that the deadline for paying their motor vehicle tax for the second half of 2022 is June 30, 2022.

This reminder applies to those who have only paid the first half of 2022. Please note that there is no extension of the payment deadline.

Building DIMPIf you do not pay your motor vehicle tax or do not pay it on time, you will receive an additional assessment as of July 1, 2022, which means an administrative fine of 50% on top of the motor vehicle tax due. It is advisable to pay your motor vehicle tax for the rest of the year 2022 as soon as possible. Avoid extra costs and fines.

Payment

You can pay via internet banking or at the Tax Office headquarters in Camacuri, one of the MFAs and the branch office in the Post Office Building in San Nicolas.

Partial payment

You can still take advantage of the partial payment plan. It allows customers to pay 50% of their motor vehicle taxes now and the rest by the end of June 2022.
