The DNM launched a new video to promote their survey

ORANJESTAD - The Department of Nature and Environment DNM wants to reach as many people once more to participate with their survey about the use of single-use plastics in Aruba. 

Ad National ordinance prohibition environmentally harmful products Last year in October, the DNM started a survey, but this year they have created a video with instructions on where to find the survey, and how to complete the survey. This video is available on their Facebook page of the Department of Nature and Environment 

Choose zero awarenes campaign products that are harmful to the environment In 2019, a ban on environmentally harmful products was passed (AB 2019no.67).

This law came into effect on July 1, 2020. The DNM is aware that this law affected consumers and importers.

Now through this survey, the DNM wants to know what the community thinks of the environment. The survey is available in Papiamento and English.

Those who are not aware of what is included in the new law, can find details in the law banning Environmentally Harmful Products (AB 2019no.67 - Landsverordening verbod voor het milieu schadelijke producten). The DNM urges everyone to go over this law banning environmentally harmful products and find the complete list of banned plastic and polystyrene products.

This can help in the process of making the best decisions concerning our environment.
