The Department of Public Health (DVG) provides a variety of services through its many sections. To comply with the new normal like social distancing, preventing agglomeration, and proper hygiene, the DGV had to adapt and introduce changes. These changes will be applicable starting Monday 11 May 2020. Adapted services are valid for Food Handlers Card (Green card)
Food Handlers Cards will be available for new applicants or those who are renovating their certificates.
Anyone who needs to pick up their Food Handlers Card will be notified of the process in the next announcement. An appointment for a Food Handlers Card should be done online on www.dvg.aw

Anyone with a doctor’s prescription for a vaccine must make an appointment by calling 5224221/5224241/5224239 to get vaccinated. Those wishing to receive a vaccine without a doctor’s prescription should make an appointment online on www.dvg.aw for the vaccination and payment.

The slaughtering of livestock animals is only possible by appointment starting May 26, 27, and 28, 2020. For an appointment please call 5224310 during office hours.
Payment for Services
Payment is only possible with debit cards. The DVG urges visitors to comply with the stipulated rules. Service will not be provided to anyone showing any Covid-19 symptoms and anyone not respecting the new rules will be required to leave immediately.
The new rules are intended to protect the community and employees while stopping the spread of the virus.
