The vehicle tax payment deadline is August 2, 2021

ORANJESTAD – The Tax Department is reminding the community that the last date to pay their second half of the vehicle tax for 2021 is August 2, 2021.

All vehicle owners need to pay this duty on time to avoid an additional penalty of 50% on the amount owed. Failing to pay the vehicle tax in time will result in the automatic addition of the 50% penalty on August 3, 2021. This is called the additional tax assessment.
