The DIMAS is in charge of the registration and coordination for the voluntary repatriation.
Since the announcement of this repatriation program, there was an enormous demand. During the first week more than 300 individuals registered for repatriation. The program is currently in its second phase; this being logistics and diplomatic agreements with the countries involved.
The DIMAS has already been contacting those who registered requesting them additional information including information requested by the destination countries win order to schedule the flight. So far there are over 500 individuals who have registered since the announcement in early April.
The Government of Aruba is well aware of the fact that many people want to voluntarily return to their country and that is the reason they have kept the registration period open until further notice. The registration form is available on the website of DIMAS
