There will be extra controls this weekend. All COVID19 rules are valid!

ORANJESTAD- During the weekend of October 30 and 31st, the Crisis Team’s Taskforce will be extra vigilant in the nightlife area to make sure all establishments enforce the established rules to mitigate the spread of Covid-19.

Establishments not in compliance with the safety protocols can be closed immediately. It is not a secret that on October 31, many people will go out to celebrate Halloween, despite the prohibition to gather together. The measure only allows a maximum of 4 persons per table, standing or sitting at the bar is not permitted nor serving beverages at the bar. People must keep a physical distance of 1.5 meters once inside of an establishment and the use of face-masks are mandatory when inside.

Music is allowed with a maximum of 3 musicians performing, but music should only be as background music and not loud to engage the public. In the event the musician or DJ spot clients breaking the rules, they have to stop the music immediately.

Closing time is 11 pm every day while the area prohibition is in place from 12 am to 5 am forbidding access to beach areas and parking lot areas accessible to the public.

The Crisis Team urges everyone to abide by the rules and to be cautious in order to mitigate the covid19 virus. Aruba counts on you!
