Three vaccination locations are now open

ORANJESTAD - Up to last week the only vaccination center which was open from Monday to Friday was the Centro Libertador Betico Croes.

Vaccination Center Centro Libertador Betico Croes in Santa CruzThe vaccination centers Don Bosco in Noord and Santa Teresita Center in San Nicolas were only open for 3 days of the week. Starting Monday, March 29, Don Bosco and Santa Teresita will be administering vaccines from Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This will help with the high demand for the vaccine making it possible to vaccinate more people per day.

On average 1200 persons are vaccinated daily, but now that they will start vaccinating persons with chronic illnesses or health conditions, and professionals who come in contact with many others like Police officers and teachers, it is obvious that the DVG needed to upscale their vaccination capacity.

As of Monday, March 29, the MFA in Savaneta will not serve any longer as a registration location. The registration location for the east side of the island will be Santa Teresita in San Nicolas.

Registration at Santa Teresita Center is possible from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The MFA in Santa Cruz, Paradera, and Noord will remain operational as registration locations.
